Eric's paintings are a mixture of oil paint and oil stick applications. His background in graphic design is apparent in his use of shapes and how they are arranged within his compositions. His love of color, and its relationships makes his work particularly energetic and bold. Eric draws inspiration from the simple, everyday objects that make his life so enjoyable—a cup of coffee, a favorite chair, the bowl of fruit on the dining table where his family gathers, the jazz music that's always playing in the background, his dad's favorite hat, etc. For him, noticing the everyday world—to cherish, reimagine, and express it—is a passion.

Eric is an abstract painter and a published author and illustrator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. His art has been shown in galleries in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Georgetown, TX.
